Peruvian rapper Levin Druel Márquez, known as Mayron Alexander Santos, was shot and killed on February 15th in his home, right in front of his partner. A gunman approached the gate of the house and opened fire on the artist , who tried to repel the attack with his own weapon, but was shot down.

In an attempt to survive, Levin took cover under a motorcycle, but his attacker continued shooting before fleeing. The singer, known for songs about ambition, money, and fame, had recently released the song "Empistolao."
