Young women Heena (22) and Navneetha (24) were among the victims who, according to doctors, died from their burn injuries. Following the incident, police detained a woman whom the protesters identified as the source of the conflict. The investigation is ongoing, and the case has sparked widespread discussion about the strained relationships within the transgender community and the mechanisms for protecting members from abuse.
