Just imagine if someone purposely got themself kidnapped with hopes they will be taken to high-ranking member's location, like El Mencho for instance. If that person is crazy enough, they might just strap a bomb to themself. If this were the middle east or south east Asia, this shit would have already been happening. Everybody thinks these drug lords are untouchable, and everybody in Mexico reveres them. Not true. A lot of Mexican people hate them. Imagine your family being killed because they wouldn't pay extortion money. This happens all the time. All it takes is few crazy Mexicans to start doing suicide bombings, and Mexico will turn into the middle east. Lastly, the cartels are fucking up by sending their men into the US. All it will take is a few dead American cops, and the US Armed Forces will on them like stink on shit. The Mexican army will be forced to either join forces or stand aside. A lot of people will say "look what happened in Vietnam". The reality about that is we didn't have 1/1000 of the technology then as we do now, and in Vietnam we couldn't use military vehicles like we need to because of the terrain. The NSA knows where these assholes are. That's a 1 up. Now imagine 10 or 15 M1 Abrams main battle tanks raiding El Mencho's compound all at once. Attack helicopters, jets, drones and the US destroyers all breathing fire down on him.
