The attack The incident occured at 9:14 am, when Yang Moumou, a 58 years old villager and neighbor of the family knocked on door to an apartment occupied by 2 girls watching tv at the time. Hearing the door, the younger one would get off the couch and open the sliding door, standing face to face with the perpetrator, who immediately attacked by hitting her in the head, causing her to fall to the ground, where he hit her with a hatchet, marking the first injury of the home invasion. Shortly after he would advance towards the older child swinging at her three times, missing once and hitting her in the head (what appears to be) twice. As he would back up from the couch, the girl would take off running while screaming for help, dodging an over head swing and exiting the room. As the older sister ran outside, the attacker would quickly move towards the crying girl that initially opened the door for him, whom was sitting still the entire time. As soon as he got to her, he slashed her twice in the head, once to the back of it and once to the face, and then hit her back, running after the older sister as he finished. The 2 girls luckily survived the incident, only being left injured. The perpetrator, Yang Moumou, who, as stated before, was a 58 year old neighbor of the family, has reportedly done the act as a form of revenge for a grudge he had with an unknown relative of the children. After the attack he fled the scene, but was captured not long after, because only an hour and 22 minutes at 10:37 of the same day. After his capture, he was put on trail for attempted homicide, and was approved for arrest on June 20th after which there is sadly no reports or updates on the situation. An insider revealed that the man attacked the girls as their grandmother left the house, with the reason being said to be picking up a package, this proving that the attack was pre coordinated and planned. The aftermath, The 2 girls were transported to the hospital, the older sister suffering facial injuries and the younger one having additional back injuries. They both survived, and their lives were luckily not in any danger at any point.
