The Fort Myers Police Department has confirmed that a woman was killed outside the D & D convenience store. The suspect had remained on the loose by 1:30 p.m. Thursday. The police department asked the community to be aware of the man and to call 911 immediately if anyone saw him. By late afternoon, police updated their social media saying they had arrested the suspect. When she called out to the man, and he started to make an aggressive approach towards her, she appears to still be calm and stood for a second as if she was going to talk to him. I thought initially they knew each other. The fact they didn't know each other, and this man was behaving violently, I think commonsense you should assume this man is going to react very violently towards you and even if he didn't physically attacked, he would have been very aggressive and angry.

For a second, it appears she stopped as if she was going to chat with him. The fact he was smashing her car up for no solid reason and then as she came out, he made an aggressive posture towards her as she stopped as if she was going to chat or reason with him. Initially when the story came out, I thought maybe she knew the man but after reading many news stories, it sounded to me like they were unaware of each other and this was their first meeting. If anyone here ever see someone destroying their property like this, just go back inside and call 911 or if you're going to confront them, at least do so in such a way that you can protect yourself. Don't let them come any close and assume any movement towards you is aggressive.
