According to initial reports, a young man identified as Jesús Murillo Utria , 17, attempted to commit a robbery inside the establishment, which led to an exchange of gunfire with a plainclothes police officer who was at the scene. According to witnesses, the teenager entered the building carrying a firearm and threatened a man carrying a chain. At that moment, an armed confrontation broke out. The shocking moments were recorded on a security camera in the area, capturing the tense moments in which the young man, dressed in a black sweater, white sneakers, and jeans, intimidated the victim, who was allegedly shot during the attempted robbery and is hospitalized. Upon realizing the situation, the plainclothes officer reacted and drew his service weapon. The exchange of gunfire lasted for nearly two minutes until Murillo Utria was struck by a bullet, killing him instantly. The young man fell to the ground, seriously wounded, and died at the scene. Authorities are conducting the corresponding investigation to clarify what happened and determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
