The woman was on the platform at the 14th St-Union Square stop when witnesses saw her jump on the tracks about 10:20 p.m. on Monday, cops said. Investigators believe she jumped on the tracks to relieve herself, source said. When a train entered the station, the woman scrambled in vain to get back on the platform but was struck by the train and died at the scene. Her name was not immediately released. L train service was suspended for nearly three hours as police investigated.
