According to police reports, the victim was socializing at the venue when two individuals arrived on a motorcycle. The passenger dismounted the vehicle and opened fire directly at Almeida, before fleeing in an unknown direction with his accomplice. Almeida Lama, 42, was rushed to the Martín Icaza Hospital, where he succumbed to the severity of gunshot wounds to various parts of his body, despite the medical staff's efforts to stabilize him. At the crime scene, forensic experts recovered four spent 9-millimeter shell casings. Relatives stated that they are unaware of the motive behind the violent attack.
