Fighters appear to be using at least one AK-74 rifle and M16A4 rifles with thermal scopes and M4-style stocks. The fighters also captured some noteable weapons as well. An HAR-66 LAW (fired/extended) an MKEK 40mm TBA-6R1 revolver grenade launcher, a possible MKEK MPT-55 assault rifle and a pistol seems to be seized as a result. At least one of the M16A4 rifles seems to be equipped with a "Dedal-Venator" thermal scope.It's noteable that the raid units use thermal scopes with battery packs more frequently —even during the day-time raids. Generally, the attack seems to be quite efficient and we'll orchistrated as well. The situation in #NorthernIraq is evolving slowly for the Turkish army as they suffer some casualties from constant PKK ambushes and counterattacks while the Turkish air force is working with aircraft and drones but it seems that it's not enough to counter the PKK PRESENCE.
