@truthisanillusion it appears he had a silent depression lurking inside him for a long time, he told people to not be sad about his death, to take care of themselves, etc, the depression had finally consumed him and caused him to do bad choices, he said that he was calm and fine with everything now that he knew it was going to end, but my spanish is not that great, so take this with a grain of salt.

It appears he was ready to meet his maker. But I'm curious as to why he jumped? Maybe if the captions were in my language, or there's an article in English with a back story. A thought that comes immediately into mind, is that he was dissatisfied with the inter workings of the police department. He simply wanted to send a message to his team, that some stuff needs to change. And what better way (tongue in cheek) to show his disapproval, by jumping off a bridge. He was diplomatic in nature, so I was left with the impression that he was knowledgeable in the situation he was in. I'm also guessing that he was well liked. That's the type of job where unity becomes paramount, if you are to survive.
