The trainee nurse Sandhya Choudhary, a student of class 12, was undergoing nursing training in the hospital. The entire incident was captured on video. After committing the crime, the murderer surrendered before the Kotwali police, sources said. Hospital sources said Sandhya, daughter of Heeralal Choudhary, was a resident of Sankal Road in Narsinghpur city. The girl, a student of class 12, was undergoing nursing training as part of the central government’s skill development scheme. At 3pm, when she was performing her duties, a youth entered the hospital and slit her throat with a sharp-edged weapon. Soon after the incident, panic spread on the hospital campus, and staffers ran here and there, for they did not know what actually happened. But just as they saw the body of the girl lying in a pool of blood, they got the shock of their life. On getting the information, the police rushed to the spot and began to search for the murderer. The police kept mum over the reason for the shocking incident. But sources said the name of a youth from Kisani ward, Abhishek Koshti, figured in the murder. They said a love triangle led to the murder of the girl. Koshthi had an alleged affair with Sandhya. He flew off the handle when he came to know that the girl had an affair with another youth and polished off Sandhya.
