According to the investigation, while the victim and an excavator operator were working in the same area, the operator heard a scream from behind and quickly swung the excavator to the right. MEXICO - A woman was stabbed to death by a man after resisting an alleged attack in the Granada neighborhood; The events took place on the morning of Thursday, August 10, in the city of León.

According to the first reports, it was approximately 7:00 am when a complaint was received about an injured woman on Rua Lago de Zumpango, on the corner of Lago de Cuitzeo in the aforementioned neighborhood.
Witnesses report that the victim was on his way to work when he was attacked with a knife; the alleged perpetrator of the crime intercepted her, but the woman resisted and fought with the criminal, after which he attacked her with a knife on several occasions.
The occurrence was reported to the 911 emergency system by residents of the area who noticed what had happened, but when the paramedics arrived at the scene, the woman had already bled to death and they could only confirm that the victim no longer showed vital signs, so that the Attorney General of the State of Guanajuato was informed of what had happened.

In a statement, the Security Secretariat of León reported that the murder of the woman in the Granada neighborhood was a direct attack due to apparent personal disagreements, ruling out that it was an attempt at aggression.
